Along with this, Camping Magazine featured our site as No.3 in its top 10 sites for families, The Alan Rogers Guide of hand-picked sites describes Greenacres as "a true haven of peace and quiet" and we're also one of the select sites featured in Cool Camping Britain, described as a "Spellbinding family campsite" with "a peaceful outdoor living area that is both safe and comfortable for young families and lots of fun for children.". All of these accreditations are something we are proud of and it's what makes people come to stay with us year after year.
The campsite is close to the beautiful city of Wells, with its magnificent Cathedral and Bishops Palace, mystic Glastonbury and the historic market town of Shepton Mallet. You can also enjoy days out at the Avalon Marshes wildlife reserves, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Stourhead, the Bath & West Showground, shopping at Clark's Village in Street, 3 different Steam railways and many other attractions. We look forward to welcoming you.
